Recap: A Weekend of Learning

Psimet's Fox River Grove Omnium is a wrap! We are eternally grateful to Alison Powers for giving us her knowledge and critiques over the long weekend. It was an honor to learn from such a badass cyclist.

Many great questions were asked on Friday night after the East Dundee criterium.

Saturday kicked off with the Vision clinic hosted by Brian and Francine Haas. Proper cornering skills were practiced and Brian provided some great feedback for the riders.

After the clinic it was time to race and put that knowledge to work. Alison Powers stuck around to watch the races and give a few pointers.

Sunday was the final day of the omnium series, and according to Alison, her favorite course. A punchy hill and hot temps would test the riders.

Overall omnium standings find all CWEC riders on the podium. We may have battled it out against each other this weekend, but it only made us stronger and ready for more!
